Default Indie comics

Does anyone out there know anything about independent comics with only 1 or 2 releases? Names like; Defiant Comics - The Good Guys #1. Next Comics - Bioneers #1, or Innovation Comics #17 - Lost in Space, voyage to the bottom of the soul (part 5 of 12). I have boxes of them all in plastic wrap, but don't know what to do with them? Firestarters or save them?

I'll look into these titles, see what's up with them.

This is some of the info I found:
Defiant Comics looks to have been dried up in the mid 90's, due to legal disputes with Marvel and court fees bankrupting them... 'The Good Guys' was one of their first comics and only ran for 9 issues. it sells for 99 cents on e-bay and reviews say it's a bad comic.

Looks like 'Bioneers' was put out by Mirage Comics, not Next. (They also did Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles!) It says that Mirage published a lot of titles, but few were successful enough to remain in publication for more than a few volumes. 'Bioneers' sells for about 3 dollars on ebay.

Hm, well, when Innovation Comics began in the 80's, they were number 4 in the market. Under Marvel, DC, then Dark Horse. 'Lost in Space' #17 is selling on ebay for about $3.50. It was around before the sci-fi tv show and then they sorta molded together as one. There are some good reviews on it, but I think it's not a cup of tea everyone likes.

Thanks so much. The art on some of these are really something, and some are a bit racy! I got them from a guy that worked at a comic place, and he picked up the #1 &#2 comics as they were released. that is why they are in plastic. Maybe if I keep them another 10 years they will be worth something!

By the way, thanks for the quick and thorough response on the comics! The Innovation comic (hum...) is the one that appears a bit racy. Don't think it is about just "lost in space!". I guess I should not give them away as xmas presents!
