The New York Anime Festival is back this year, reaching out for any cosplayer, anime, manga, video game and Japanese culture fan to join the masses from September 25th to 27th, 2009. The festival will be held at the Jacob K. Javits Center is Midtown Manhattan and tickets are now on sale at their website, weekend passes for only $55.00.
Special guests this year include Misako Rocks!, voice actor Rachael Lillis, sake teacher Timothy Sullivan, musical performer Reni Mimura and the guest of honor this year is Mobile Suit Gundam creator, Yoshiyuki Tomino!
NYAF is packed full of exhibitors, artist galleries and events. This year the World Cyber Games National Final will be held and the winner will go on to challenge some of the best gamers in the world. There will also be a Neo-Victorian Fashion Show, Masquerade, Cosplay Variety Hour, Japanese and Korean MMO Games, Convention War Stories and countless other events including parties and concerts.
