The shooting of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 4 will begin in January of 2010, but this news was followed with Bruce Campbell, star of the Evil Dead trilogy and known for his cameos in the past three films, announcing that he has been offered a much larger role in the newest movie. It is unclear who he will be portraying as /Film believes there is a chance that Campbell has been playing the same character in each movie and this person will have an effect on the world, while hopeful fans continue to speculate that Mysterio will be introduced into the movie-world and that this is the role Campbell has been offered.
Personally, I'd love to see Mysterio in a movie and this rumor is much more interesting and exciting than /Film's idea. Who thinks Mysterio or The Lizard will be in Spider-Man 4? The film is slated for release in 2011 and has Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire signed on with rumors of JK Simmons.
